Starting this studio has been a dream of mine for many years. It combines my two passions- art and education.

Before opening the studio I worked in the Children’s Program at the Ipswich Art Gallery where I assisted in the development and delivery of kids art exhibitions, programs and workshops. The Gallery has a strong community feel to it, something that inspired me when creating my own kids art space.

After studying Fine Arts (Film & TV) and Education (Early Years) at QUT, I worked as a primary school teacher for 5 years at Rainworth State School, Milton Primary School and Ashgrove Primary School teaching both full-time and casually.

I have traveled widely to Mongolia, Croatia, Central and South America, Japan and many places in between. I have lived and worked in Siem Reap, Cambodia as a volunteer with an education focused non-government organization called Harvest Cambodia.

I’m a painter by heart but am currently working on my Masters, starting my own kids clothing line and writing a children’s book.
